About Us
We're here to help build a foundation for lifelong learning in a fun and supportive environment.
Since its establishment in 1970, Wentworth Falls Preschool has aimed to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop within the local community. This core objective has remained throughout the years, and as a result, the preschool has catered to multiple generations of families while consistently offering the highest quality early learning experience for children.
The preschool has been operating as a non-profit community organisation managed by a management committee. This committee includes parents or caregivers of children enrolled in the center and community members who want to participate. The management committee has four key office-holders, including the president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Additionally, there are several ordinary members.

Our Preschool
Wentworth Falls Preschool is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels a sense of belonging.

We work collaboratively with families, recognising that they are the first and most important teachers in a child's life.
Our diverse community is celebrated, with respect for each child's unique background, and Indigenous Australian perspectives are incorporated into our curriculum. It's important to learn about and respect the history, culture, and traditions of Indigenous Australians. We want to teach children about their different cultures and how they've contributed to our country.
We offer a play-based learning environment that balances child-initiated experiences with intentional teaching, underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Curriculum Framework.

Our staff are caring and compassionate individuals who are continuously enhancing their skills through ongoing professional development.

We also embrace the beauty of the Blue Mountains and encourage children to appreciate the natural world and care for our environment.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We aim to create a safe, supportive and nurturing environment that encourages a love of learning in each child. Our curriculum is designed to foster independence, promote confidence and inspire curiosity. We believe that every child has their own unique gifts and talents, and we are here to help guide them.
OUR ENVIRONMENT
The environment and daily activities are designed to build upon the curiosity, wonder, and richness that children bring to preschool. Children can engage in a rich array of experiences and activities. The learning spaces are fun, exciting, hands-on, comforting, relaxing, and challenging; providing opportunities to explore, discover, investigate, and create with the support of friends and Educators.
OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY
We prioritise developing trust and respectful partnerships with families and the community, acknowledging their unique circumstances and cultural diversity. We recognise the crucial role of families as children's primary teachers and prioritise supporting them.
